We choose to stay here in the quaint little town of Behuard in the Loire Valley. We specifically chose it so that we could cycle both East and West along by the river over two days.
We were so pleased with everything about this small but carefully thought Hotel and restaurant. Our hosts, Armell and a Charles warmly greeted us, ensured our car had a place to park in the busy village and that we could safely leave our bikes. The room was large, appeared recently decorated and well appointed including USB plugs and very nice bathroom with powerful shower.
We enjoyed a very nice evening meal prepared from us by Armell and accompanied by both a local red and white, suggested by them.
Breakfast included croissants, fresh fruit, eggs and yoghurt. Excellent and it set us up for another day’s cycling.
On our return, even though we were not staying another night we were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and able to use the bathroom before setting off in our car.
All in all we had a very nice stay and can warmly recommend it
