Passing through Clermont-Ferrand this evening. A fantastic brasserie, with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. Generous portions and quality ingredients. We will gladly return to this establishment on our next visit.

A lovely brasserie in the heart of the Jaude shopping center. The welcome is very friendly and the food is good. It's often very busy, so it's best to book ahead, especially on busy days and times (weekends).

After an overnight stop in Clermont-Ferrand, I made a quick stop in the evening without a reservation. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the staff smiling. I highly recommend it 🙏👍 for a great stopover.

01/10/2025: It's certainly a somewhat old-fashioned place, but don't let that put you off. I've been going to Le Viennois for 15 years, and I come for coffee every day or a set menu now and then with friends or suppliers. The owner has a dry sense of humor; I love his offbeat wit and his grumpy demeanor, but underneath it all, he's a kind soul. His chef delights our taste buds with flavorful and generous dishes. The meat is excellent. His waitress is energetic, smiling, and attentive. It's a friendly team, as are its regular customers. So don't hesitate to go in; you won't be disappointed. A sense of humor is a must!

30/03/2026: I've been here many times and have never been disappointed with the food, and the prices are reasonable. There's often a long wait for the crepes/waffles. My only complaint is the children's play area. It's too small and often too crowded (weekdays and weekends). My autistic son is always nervous. Also, many of the games cost money; the children love them, but we're less enthusiastic, but that's just how it is!
23/03/2026: Thank you to the team. The coffee machine wasn't working, but a very friendly employee took care of it.
