L'autre Jardin sur Mirepoix

Every time I visit mirepoix (which is often) I love coming here. The service and food is consistently 10/10… and the wine is an experience. ❤️💙🤍

My wife and are in the area for our honeymoon and decided to come to Mirepoix for a day between Toulouse and Carcassonne (which was a side trip of itself from our planned time in northern Spain) We did not stay at L'Autre Jardin but we did have dinner here on a whim as it is fairly sleepy here in the winter and the choices for food were rather slim. This was the only restaurant that didn't seem like it was either too casual or too touristy. Can I say, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in my life. The staff did not speak much English, and I not much French (not even enough to be dangerous, unfortunately) but we managed well enough and were treated kindly and warmly through out our time visiting. The food was SUPERB, some of the best french cooking I've had. Well balanced flavors, fresh, and a perfect portion for each course. the pintade chaponée was mouth wateringly good with balanced butternut and potato pavé(?) to cut the salt and richness of the guinea fowl. The potato pavé was the best I've had in quite some time. My wife was very pleased with her grilled octopus. I cannot recommend eating here enough. Merci infiniment pour votre hospitalité.

My partner and I went there for dinner during a romantic weekend getaway. What a treat! The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all absolutely perfect!

The restaurant and service were very pleasant and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the presentation was beautiful, using only fresh ingredients, and the price was very reasonable. We had a wonderful time. :)

A superb experience at L’Autre Jardin! 🌿 Attentive, yet not overbearing, service and simply delicious dishes—the kind of cuisine that makes you want to congratulate the chef himself (if you didn't do it on the day, here's a map review). Everything was fantastic, from start to finish! We left with a smile on our faces and delighted taste buds. 🍽️

Excellent address. Original dishes with lots of flavor. Two experiences and not disappointed. The dishes are perfectly seasoned.

Very good dish. I had the skewered leg of lamb with mild spices, and it was excellent. Quality meat and well-cooked. The carrot puree and other vegetables were an excellent accompaniment. I had a Paris Brest for dessert, and I was delighted. Not too sweet, light even for a Paris Brest. I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it 👍🏻
