A truly wonderful experience! 🥗🍹🍝 The salad was fresh and flavorful, the cocktails excellent, and the pasta absolutely delicious. Special mention to the service, which was of a very high standard: professional, attentive, and warm. The setting is positive, but I doubt the hygiene in the kitchen, and the microwave must be used a lot, since when I paid the door was slightly open and I could see that the microwave was a good ally… the meal cost €20.50, it was brasserie fare, overcooked fries, dry brownie.

The food is good, except for the mussels which were unfortunately too dry.

L'Aven Gourmand is a must-try if you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price, without compromising on quality. In short, for €20 you can get a starter, main course, and dessert (on an evening in July 2026!) that won't disappoint. Add to that the lovely atmosphere, and you'll wish you had a place like this near you. Oh, and I almost forgot! You'll be served by a friendly and smiling young team.

Very nice location. We ate on the footbridge over the river. Quick service, friendly waitress. We had the herb sausage and the aligot. It was good. Good evening.

With no bakery or convenience store open, we grabbed a quick lunch, arriving at 1 p.m. and leaving 40 minutes later for a 2 p.m. appointment. The waitress and cook were impeccable, the galettes were cooked perfectly, and the filling was just right. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the peace and quiet by the river.
