Lazzaro Pizza sur La Chapelle-Des-Marais

My previous review will remain below because I feel it's important. As a regular customer, I'm lowering my rating to 4 stars. The food quality and dedication haven't changed, BUT the delivery... until recently, it "only" cost €25 + €3 for delivery. Now it's €40 + €3!! The price has almost doubled for the same service. I praised this delivery service in my last review, and I'm revising it. 🤷‍♂️ It's worth noting that today, a single person or a couple has to pay almost €50 just to get delivery... As a business owner myself, I understand the challenges a company faces with recent oil price increases, or perhaps it's the World Cup effect? 🤷‍♂️ I still think there are plenty of solutions rather than impacting the minimum order value for customers. Too bad, I'll still be a customer, but less frequently 🙂‍↕️ [I already left a review a while ago, but I can't see it anymore... I was praising Lazzaro; it's true, they're the only "fast food" delivery place in the area, and what a plus!! There was a slight dip in quality a while back, but recently we tried two of the new pizzas and they're fantastic!! The staff is always friendly. No problem, my previous review was 5 stars, and I stand by that! Some of the comments are absurd in my opinion; mistakes and delays happen, like in any job 😌. We've almost never been disappointed, you can count on us for a long time to come 😁. You deserve your 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I came to Lazzaro Pizza for lunch today with friends, and I'm also taking their feedback into account in this review. The pizzas were very good, generously topped, and delicious. The fries were also very good, and the burgers were excellent—no complaints! However, there was a bit of a wait for the burgers. The manager is very friendly and welcoming, which is a nice touch. On the other hand, some of the staff weren't very smiley, and we didn't always get a greeting.

We ordered four pizzas, including one children's meal, and three fries, one of which was sweet potato. Upon arrival, we were informed that they were out of sweet potato fries, replaced with regular potatoes, which wasn't a problem. They also said they were out of Capri Sun for the children's meal, so that was also an option. When we got home to eat our pizzas, two out of the four were dripping with grease (oil); the toppings wouldn't stay on the pizza because they were so oily. I contacted Lazzaro directly, and they told me to speak to the chef. They offered no compensation, even though the order was quite expensive (€65), and still ended up saying "enjoy your meal."

The servers were super friendly, the welcome was great, and we had a fantastic time at Lazzaro in La Chapelle-des-Marais! The servers are incredibly friendly and very funny, which immediately creates a great atmosphere. We felt comfortable and well-received. Honestly, it makes you want to come back!
