Come for a lunch during the week, reception a little cold, on the other hand pleasant setting and beautiful decoration, delicious dishes well cooked, good products, desserts a little below the main course, very friendly cook, value for money a little expensive 31 euros main and dessert

Pleasant restaurant and most professional service But disappointed by the main course, meat not tender enough and the portion of vegetables a little meager for the price left. For the rest nothing to say.

We were staying at the Mercure across the street, and the young ladies at the desk told us to have dinner here. They open at 7:00, posted on the door. We were dismayed when they didn’t open right at 7:00. We returned to the hotel for another recommendation , and they called Le 15 Gourmand. Oh! They Are open NOW. Whew, what a relief. We scurried across the street, and a lovely madame opened the door and explained that they got caught in traffic. We proceeded to have a really wonderful three course for €39(?), somewhere around that price. Plus a nice carafe of local rouge. Everything was fresh and prepared beautifully. The maîtresse was very nice and patient with my primitive French. If it’s on the menu, take my advice and order the profiteroles. They are the best I’ve ever had. The choux was crispy, which was a first for me, and I’ve had many profiteroles. Usually the choux gets a little soggy, but with crisp choux, it was a delicious first. This restaurant deserves a high rank in the list of Angers.
