Le 154 sur Penmarch

We came here for lunch at the end of service but the staff were happy to serve us. We had just walked out of a nearby highly rated restaurant because the attitude of the servers was lamentable and there was a distinct lack of any appealing choice of food. Here at Le 154 we sat on the terrace on a lovely day, under the shade of a parasol. We had good well-cooked food. Not very fancy, but good. I had a lovely piece of dorada with a leek fondue and crunchy chips and my husband had very tender scallops. Wine was reasonably priced. My husband even made room for a flambéed crepe for dessert which he thoroughly enjoyed. We are very grateful that the staff agreed to serve us after normal lunch hours.
