I want to commend this establishment for its professionalism and work during our moving-out party. They surprised us with their platters, verrines, and petit fours; everything was perfect, excellent value for money, and the owner and his daughter are super friendly. I highly recommend them.
Regarding the campsite: one of the few open in winter! Thank goodness they're there! Beautiful location, quiet, private bathrooms, farm, playground, and a stream for children.
Regarding the restaurant: Good and generous portions, friendly welcome by the fireplace.
Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted by a campsite guest. The owner, she said, was absent due to illness (it happens).
We had a nice, large pitch with VIP restrooms. These were new and looked neat, but you could tell they still needed finishing. Personally, I would install an extractor fan and a towel radiator to dry them.
The campsite itself looks beautiful and is beautifully situated.
The campsite was almost completely empty; there were only 4 or 5 caravans or campers, and it seemed like the season had already ended.
There was no campsite maintenance; the grass wasn't mowed anymore and was so long that it felt like you were standing in a meadow. This was also very annoying in wet weather; your shoes were immediately wet and smudged.
We saw several people come and go, and we noticed that the restrooms weren't cleaned for the next customer.
In the two weeks we were there, we didn't see anyone from the campsite; there was only activity at the restaurant. The campsite is very remote, requiring a long drive to get anywhere. The guestbook also indicates this; most of the things listed are easily 45 km or more one way.
There are no bread rolls, dishes, or a shop.
