Le Bar a Thym sur Arles

20/10/2025: We were here as a couple in love in 2007 and returned as a family in October 2025! In the meantime, the chef has voluntarily given up his two stars, doesn't read social media reviews, and now cooks purely out of passion for his guests. A great attitude! We let Monsieur Rabanel decide what we should eat. It was totally exciting and we enjoyed it immensely. We had several courses for 95 euros. Among other dishes, there was fish, mussels with vegetables and chorizo ​​(we've never experienced such a combination before), vegetarian dishes with a combination of mushrooms and scallops on fennel wood, Camargue bull fillet (Taurreau), and finally, Pavlova with pear. We had an excellent meal, the staff was friendly, and the wine selection was good, even served by the glass. Oh well, maybe the chef will read our review after all... he so deserves it. 27/08/2025: Arles is very beautiful and welcoming. This restaurant is excellent. We had the surprise menu and loved it. We recommend the fish dishes. The staff is super friendly.
