The bar is charming and it is well located in the Madeleine district. It offers very good cocktails: fusion gin and peach. I thank the young man with the mustache for his welcome and his impeccable service. It’s a great discovery. We will come back with pleasure!

I was invited to discover the Burgundy snack and so after a reservation online where we take my credit card details (important for the future) I am installed in a small lounge under a glass roof and they bring me a real farandole of dessert (3 pieces of cake, a brioche and a lollipop). First observation we get what we paid for (€55) especially since the hot drink of our choice is included but...it is practically impossible to eat everything for a snack. I was expecting very good cakes (which is true) but small portions to taste because we came out with a dolly bag and felt like we were going to explode. The unpleasant surprise comes when leaving: I return to the hostess who asks me if I had any extras and who tells me that hot drinks are included and we leave for a walk... until 2 hours later I am called back to tell me that I have not paid (the bank details are an imprint in case of no show but impossible to activate it???) and after informing me that it was impossible to send me a payment link and having tried to write down my credit card number on a piece of paper because we don't know how to do it (sic) I am invited to come back the next day to pay the bill. Fortunately the next day I insisted that they send me a payment link otherwise I would do the walk again in the other direction. In summary, an excellent pastry chef, a well-stocked snack and a customer service/experience to be reviewed. Go there to have a slice of cake you will get 15€ for the cake and 9€ for the tea and you will pay by credit card!!!
