A friendly place with pleasant and welcoming staff. The ribeye steak for two was incredibly tender and of excellent quality—a real treat for meat lovers. Don't hesitate, go for it! The mushroom sauce was excellent; I highly recommend it.

While passing through the city, we had a very good meal; the portions were generous and the price was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I recommend it 😊

Georgette La Gourmande🌷 was delighted with her experience. A welcoming and pleasant person, the Cévennes burger was a real treat – perfectly cooked, with a melt-in-your-mouth bun. A convivial moment in a warm atmosphere. Excellent value for money 👍🏼

A fantastic find at Le Barbusse in Alès! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a great time with friends or family. The dishes are homemade, prepared with fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. You can taste the care and passion in every plate. Special mention to Sylvain, the chef, for his talent and creativity 👏 His cuisine is generous, flavorful, and always perfectly executed. The service is pleasant and attentive, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it; a must-visit in Alès!

The service was impeccable 👍 However, the duck breast à la carte was a huge disappointment. Five tiny, ultra-thin slices, like ham, is ridiculous (it's about 1/5 of a duck breast). I've never seen anything like it! Two of us ordered it, and neither of us received a better portion... It's a rip-off! ☹️

19/03/2026: For a brasserie, the menu wasn't bad, the staff were very friendly, and throughout the meal, only French songs were played – which is quite rare and worth mentioning. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
18/03/2026: The first ray of sunshine and a most generous lunch on the terrace. A lovely, relaxing moment and very pleasant service with a touch of the Gard region...Thank you.
