How could anyone not be charmed by this place? A warm welcome, sumptuous cuisine, and incredibly reasonable prices! The six-course menu began with a comforting and flavorful soup. The foie gras that followed was accompanied by two jams, including a zucchini jam that was a revelation for my taste buds, and I'll definitely be back since the restaurant also sells their own preserves. The gizzard salad that followed was generously meaty, a true main course. The other dishes were equally hearty and delicious. The salad was dressed just like my grandmother's, a real Proustian moment. My husband loved the Sarlat-style potatoes. The cheese platter was once again accompanied by jam, which was a must-try: even if you're full, you shouldn't deny yourself an extra treat! The homemade tart for dessert was also fantastic; a selection of ice cream might have been more appropriate, haha. Thank you very much, everything was greatly appreciated.

Excellent cuisine that makes up for a somewhat lukewarm welcome. On the plate, it's flawless. This restaurant beautifully honors traditional cuisine. The dishes are generous, expertly prepared, and made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. From appetizer to dessert, the local flavors are present, and every bite is a delight. Lovers of fine dining will undoubtedly be satisfied. Unfortunately, the service experience is more mixed. The welcome was rather cold, and the service sorely lacked warmth and smiles. While not impolite, the staff remained very distant, creating a somewhat rigid atmosphere that clashes with the conviviality one expects from such an establishment. In short: A must-visit for the quality of its food, but one that would greatly benefit from softening its service to offer a truly successful experience.

Every time I've been to the Dordogne since childhood, this restaurant has been the place to go for a get-together and a delicious Périgord meal in a wonderful atmosphere. The food is generous, and the staff is very professional. I highly recommend this institution! Thank you, Cathy!
