A café ideally located in the heart of Rueil-Malmaison. Le Beau Harseau has been given a new lease of life by moving to the charming church square. The food is quite satisfactory and the service pleasant. However, the prices are rather exorbitant. I go there regularly when I want to stop for a drink in a beautiful setting. Special mention to the waiter Samy. His work ethic and understanding of the value of money make him an honest and upright person. Le Beau Harseau is a wonderful place to catch up with old friends or bury the hatchet with your enemies.

great place for lunch on your outing to Chateau de Malmaison. Busy but very attentive staff, authentic and tasty dishes,large portions; we particularly enjoyed the beef marrow, duck and bavette of beef. Big menu for all tastes, with more vegetarian options than usual. Great side salad too( not listed but ask for it)

It was great! We ate well. It was just a shame that the waiters were arguing with each other in front of us.

In fact, it's a place where the food is generally good, but it could be updated on every level to be perfect. We like: Good profiteroles. Excellent whipped cream. Real mint in the mint tea. Generous scoops of ice cream. Very good milkshakes (note: currently unavailable). Very good quality ice cream. Very pleasant outdoor terrace. Areas for improvement: hygiene. Tables often averagely clean + dirty placemats + dirty menu. Service: often slow and you often have to ask several times, sometimes even a long wait. Quality: digestifs served hot because they were placed near heating lamps. Chocolate on profiteroles could be improved to make them perfect. Crepes taste like industrial crepes. Atmosphere: Sometimes the servers "argue" or talk about customer issues quite loudly in front of the customers (especially inside).
