Le Bec a vin sur Uzes

Le Bec à Vin in Uzès is truly a charming place, with its medieval setting and its shaded garden. We went there twice, so yes, we liked it! The cuisine is excellent, based on fresh and local products, and perfectly highlights the flavors of the region. The wine list is also remarkable, with very nice selections. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The boss, for example, could show a little more warmth. He has a slightly pedantic attitude and lacks a bit of empathy, which can make you uncomfortable. We feel that the staff are a little under pressure, which is a shame because they are friendly and professional. A word of advice: remember to book in advance, otherwise you risk finding yourself in a slightly embarrassing situation with a boss who doesn't immediately put you at ease. Finally, the lighting on the terrace could be redesigned: white light bulbs do not do justice to the atmosphere of the place. Warmer lighting would be much more suitable for creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. In short, Le Bec à Vin is worth the detour for the quality of its dishes and wines, but a few adjustments could make the experience even more pleasant.

Once again, a culinary experience that is akin to an art of living! Unique terrace in the natural shade of fig trees, delicate and inventive cuisine, rich and varied wine list, efficient and smiling service, everything comes together for a beautiful moment in the heart of summer and at the foot of the Duchy of Uzes. A beautiful address that has become over the years an unmissable family gathering. Thanks to the whole team!

Magnificent little Restaurant 😍, where you like to linger in the very cozy little garden. (Reservation recommended). The cooked dishes are delicious and delight the taste buds 🥰 If you order a chocolate coulant you will not be disappointed! , one of the only restaurants where the chocolate coulant is a real coulant and not a soft one. 👍 the large room is a little noisy but it’s a restaurant that you should detour to if you pass through Uzès. The staff is very friendly. I have been there three times as a couple and with friends and have never been disappointed. So, I will go back without hesitation because I really fell in love ♥️for this restaurant 🤗

At the bend of a small alley...we came across this wine bar, restaurant...frankly we were not disappointed... Setting, service, and cuisine... and a very nice wine list... everything comes together to ensure you have an excellent time... during our stay in Uzes we came there twice... We loved it..!! Congratulations to the team...!

Really good food. We had tartare and steak which were both delicious. Nice portion sizes, where we could also just down a dessert. Their wine selection is excellent and definitely worth a look. Even the "cheapest" red wine is good.

lovely little restaurant, with a very cool and clean terrace, friendly and professional staff and very good food. I recommend the steak tartare, cut with a knife and seasoned with aromatic herbs, different from the usual recipe and very, very tasty.

Off the beaten track, not far from the centraal square laden with toerist restaurants. The outdoor seating arena is a quote and schaduw place wherry onze would-be like to spend Severin Horus. Greet food, very reasonably priced. Good and friendly service.
