Le Bellevue sur Villerville

We stayed here for 3 days in early May and slept in room 38. This is a spacious room with a balcony, fridge, and twin beds. From the balcony, you have a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast is fine by French standards. Eggs, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, and cheese, but also sweet treats. Tea, coffee, and juices are available as desired. We were welcomed at the hotel by Shana. A great host who escorted us to the room and showed us other rooms for comparison. Shana asked us about our plans for the coming days and was eager to help make this expedition complete for us. He had printed out the sights for us several times and advised us on where to go. Down to the smallest details regarding parking tips, as well as price and distances. Additionally, Shana speaks perfect English, which was also very nice for us. We did not eat at the hotel in the evenings, mainly because there is plenty of choice in the surrounding towns. However, the hotel restaurant has a beautiful location with a view of the sea and an open terrace with an adjacent grassy meadow.

Superb establishment and top-notch service.

We returned to this hotel. A very pleasant hotel with a magnificent garden overlooking the sea. The beach is nearby. We were able to have a ground-floor room with a small private garden. The staff was attentive and particularly kind to children. The restaurant has a view and the meals were very good. In addition to the menu, daily specials are also offered.

Today, a little trip down memory lane… 🍽️ I had the pleasure of eating at a restaurant where it all began for me: an internship 20 years ago, followed by my very first job… they trusted me and kept me on for a while. Needless to say, the memories came flooding back: the beginnings, the apprenticeship… and all the energy of that time. It's quite amazing to return to a place so full of personal history. A real Proustian madeleine. So happy to have been able to relive it, if only for the duration of a meal.

The location is fantastic, the view from the window breathtaking, and the staff friendly. The receptionist spoke excellent German. The room was even better than expected. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and elegant. Only the breakfast buffet could have been a bit more varied. All in all, an unforgettable vacation that I highly recommend.
