Great setting and delicious tarte flambée

A lovely little inn, and our waitress Katie really made us feel welcome and at ease. We had a great laugh; she's very pleasant and friendly. Kudos to her for her kindness and humor! Family from Brittany and Picardy. Thank you!

A warm, historic setting, excellent cuisine, and efficient, friendly service. I discovered the Biblenhof through the gourmet passport program, and it's now one of my favorite and regular haunts. I highly recommend it!

We came for dinner. The setting was very nice. Our order was taken quickly. We ordered half a tart as an appetizer, which was rather average, and for our main courses, a sauerkraut with three types of fish (an enormous amount of cabbage and barely any fish), a large mixed salad with two nice-looking cervelas sausages, very little Gruyère cheese, and far too much lettuce underneath. We mentioned this, the waitress went to see the chef, and upon her return, she told us it had been prepared by the apprentice. I think that at €25 a dish, it's a shame, but we're not tourists. However, when the dishes arrived, they looked quite nice. The restaurant did offer us a small gesture of goodwill, including herbal tea. Despite a very decent welcome and service, I don't think I'll be going back.
