A wonderful experience, excellent cuisine, a warm welcome, and high-quality, professional service. The only slight drawback was that the red wine was much too cold, but we will be back.

A very good find, delicious and original cuisine. Warm atmosphere. The space is very pleasant. Only slight drawback: the starter and dessert were a little too generous.

I came for the month of gastronomy with a friend who wanted to introduce me to this restaurant, and we left disappointed. Having tried other restaurants for the same occasion, this is the one I recommend the least. We hadn't even finished our cocktails when they brought us the starter with the wine, which, by the way, was a sample that they never refilled, even though the menu included a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. We were seated at the very back of the room and felt completely forgotten. The starter and main course were delicious. But for me, it was a set menu where we only drank water, apart from the aperitif, and for the price, it was a bit stingy... I had heard so much about it that the disappointment was all the greater.

Meal during gastronomy month. Overwhelmed staff. Half an hour before the aperitif. Mix-up in the distribution of white/red wines. Half an hour to get a coffee that you have to ask for twice. And they want to add a coffee to the bill when only one coffee was requested, included in the gourmet menu. Arrival at 12:40 p.m. Departure at 3:35 p.m.... Positive note... Succulent gastronomy starter...

Restaurant Le Cheval Blanc

12/11/2025: Hello, we had dinner on Saturday; it was the set menu for the month of gastronomy. The price reflects the quality of the meal, which was good and plentiful. The ravioli starter had a nice texture, and the balance between the foie gras and mushrooms was interesting. For the main course, a poultry selection, the fried drumstick was rather dry and greasy. The major drawback was the cheese course. We arrived at the cheese course unprepared, so we expected something light and refreshing. Imagine a thick individual roll, split in half lengthwise, very lightly toasted, with half a goat cheese on each half—cold and hard inside, the outside blackened, no doubt by an overheated salamander grill—along with a generic mixed salad. There was no subtlety whatsoever. A few leaves of lamb's lettuce, for example, with an original dressing, perhaps in the English style? Citrus-flavored, for instance, not lemon, but a velvety citrus fruit. And a toasted goat cheese, small and subtle, again served not on a thick loaf of bread but on a small, toasted slice. The dessert was good. The wait was over until the very end with a very fresh and perfectly executed macaron. The service was good; the two servers were pleasant, attentive but not intrusive, and they received their tips. The dining room was cool; a little heating would be welcome.
12/11/2025: We discovered this restaurant during the month of gastronomy. The service was impeccable and the food very good (so fresh that we even had foam with the mushrooms!).
