It's always a pleasure to dine at this iconic Marre family establishment. The welcome is always warm, Alexandre's cuisine is delicious, and the historic setting is a feast for the eyes.

Very good cuisine in an art deco style setting with impeccable and friendly service. The chef regularly visits the dining room to chat with his customers. In short, a well-deserved 5 stars 🙂

22/03/2026: Good restaurant with simple but high-quality dishes. Pleasant atmosphere with a "home away from home" feel. The only downside was the waiter being very rushed, but this didn't detract from the staff's friendliness!
14/03/2026: We had a lovely evening at this place, which has a unique atmosphere blending old stone with modern style. The service was impeccable and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

11/02/2026: I came to work in Cahors and discovered the Gambetta bistro by chance. I went back for dinner because of the quality of the ingredients, the delicious dishes prepared with care, and, as a bonus, the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend it!
