First day of vacation on the island.
We arrived in the evening and couldn't do any shopping (everything was closed).
We looked for a restaurant nearby (20 minutes away) for dinner and found Le Bistro de la Mer. It wasn't exactly close, but we figured it was one of the few places still open.
We called... "Of course, we're still serving, dogs...with pleasure, how many people? Come on in, we'll be waiting for you!"
So, what more can I say...? Oh yes, the people were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling... The service was excellent, the presentation was lovely, and the food was delicious.
It's worth it, if only for the staff.

We received a very warm welcome and the food was good. The view overlooking the marina was lovely. No cars passed by, only pedestrians and cyclists.

Given the fantastic location, you'd expect a tourist trap, and yet...
The children's menus are so generous they'd satisfy an adult.
All the dishes are homemade. The fries and mayo are delicious.
The seafood is top-notch; I wish I'd ordered more oysters.
And a little bonus: you can actually taste the rum in the mojitos! That's rare.

There were a large group of us, and we were seated immediately. The service was impeccable and quick, with very friendly waiters and waitresses. I recommend it 300%! As for the food, it was varied without being overly fancy, and absolutely delicious. Top-notch!
