28/08/2026: We were looking for a restaurant and stumbled upon Le Bout, a place that contrasts with other restaurants; it doesn't look like much, but we ate very well there: homemade dishes, fish and chips, cod fritters and sausage rougail were delicious, and the same goes for the desserts.
22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A simple, unpretentious setting and delicious food from appetizer to dessert. Warm welcome and good value for money. I highly recommend it!

30/08/2026: The owners were very welcoming and attentive to their customers, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it; we had a very pleasant stay.
28/08/2026: We stayed four nights at this establishment and frankly, we had a fantastic time!
The owners and managers are absolutely lovely: very friendly, always smiling, accommodating, and always available. We also had breakfast there, which was simple but very satisfying and plentiful, with the option to choose savory dishes, which was a real plus.
It's also possible to eat there. We had pizzas, and they were delicious!
The manager gave us excellent advice about the markets, places to visit, and the various activities to do on Île d'Oléron. This was really appreciated, especially for making the most of our stay!
As for the apartment, it was spotless and very clean. Everything we needed was there; we lacked nothing. Honestly, we have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect!
A big thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. We highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

04/10/2026: Great spot in the middle of the tides if you want to eat seafood. You can even leave with oysters and mussels or lots of other ultra-fresh products that are sold there.
03/10/2026: Hello, I find this expensive for just a seafood platter. We ordered the large platter, and it's a shame it wasn't prepared in any special way. My children, ages 6 and 8, love discovering new flavors, and the 6-year-old only got pasta and minced steak 🤣. There wasn't even anything prepared. For the same price in a store, you can have a fantastic seafood meal.

15/10/2026: A beautiful spot on the port of Douhet, with a warm atmosphere and excellent food. The fish and andouillette are top-notch and highly recommended. We had a wonderful time around a great table.

31/08/2026: Exceptional service. Last day for the waitress as she's a student. She handled over 40 covers single-handedly, cheerfully, and without any waiting. Excellent methodology and organization, and a great memory. Bravo!
26/08/2026: We come to this restaurant every year; the setting is lovely, and we're never disappointed. We're always warmly welcomed, and so is our dog, a Border Collie 😉.
The portions are generous and excellent. The desserts are homemade, as are all the dishes, and the fries are real (not frozen).
The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is attentive and caring. We'll gladly come back next year.

The service by the seasonal staff is very pleasant, and everyone is smiling.
However, the owner is very difficult with his employees…
The condition of the machines leaves much to be desired; beware of limescale in the coffee…
25/08/2026: A well-located restaurant offering quality cuisine. The atmosphere and service would be perfect if the owner were less aggressive towards the staff in front of customers (shouting, verbal abuse, etc.). Overall hygiene is good, apart from a few minor issues (poorly washed cups, food scraps in our dish, poorly cleaned equipment, etc.).

25/09/2026: The pizza was really not fabulous… There are much better places… the dough was dry and the pizza was really small with little taste.
19/09/2026: We ordered pizzas after having been there before, unaware that the owners had changed.
The welcome was pleasant, but unfortunately, the pizzas are no longer up to par in our opinion... Dry pizza dough, plenty of tomato and cheese, but a lack of meat (or perhaps just no flavor?).
Best of luck, but we'll be looking for a new place for our pizza orders 🍕

28/07/2026: The square pizzas were very average in taste, quantity, and topping quality. A minor disappointment: I found string in my dough... I called the restaurant, and they kindly replied, "Sorry, I'll mention it to the chef..." LOL. Not to mention the tension between the person taking the order and the pizza maker—great atmosphere...
27/07/2026: Very poor value for money! Very expensive for what's offered! And very little consideration given to feedback (or even total ignoring); sometimes a simple "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" is enough to feel heard.

09/08/2024: Je me rend compte aujourd’hui que cela fait 8 ans exactement que mon dernier avis et passage arrivèrent 🙂
Très bien accueilli un midi à 3 dont un enfant de 2 ans ( chaise haute confortable dispo ) et ventilo à proximité ( merci messieurs )

Menu bon rapport qualité prix ( fruits de mer et seiche persillade : rien à redire )

30/07/2024: Service laisse a désirer les plats servis avant l apéritif, on nous a porté la note avant d avoir le dessert, lorsque je fais cette remarque gentiment je me fais rembarrer me disant qu'ils sont débordés que ça arrive chose que je comprends parfaitement sauf que j attendais juste des excuses et non me faire presque agresser.

17/05/2026: Clean and quiet hotel. Far from everything out of season: you need your car for every outing except for the beach, which is within walking distance. Excellent value for money. No Wi-Fi for a five-day stay, which can happen, but no compensation in the end: that's not cool. The gardener/jack-of-all-trades is a hero. If you like gardening, talk to him about his geraniums: he speaks wonderfully about them. Breakfast is standard, it has everything you need. The bread is good, the coffee is not too bad, the tea is low quality. A good, clean, and very quiet two-star hotel. It's a shame about the Wi-Fi...
