04/10/2023: Very good restaurant, very exotic with two atmospheres. An aperitif dinner on the terrace and dining in the dining room. 100m from a very beautiful beach. I recommend.

03/04/2024: Don't go there in winter if you have a dog, you will be refused the heated room.
Unfriendly lady, cold from the reception, this restaurant does not need customers out of season. We left straight away.
In response to your answer, And yes, being on vacation I take my dog everywhere because I take responsibility for it. And I'm not one of the owners who abandons their dog to the SPA. And this is because certain establishments refuse me access. I'm going to someone more open-minded.
31/03/2024: Very good restaurant which serves fresh products. A big plus: open almost all year round except the first half of January. A safe address and good value for money. Recommended 👍

Being a chef myself, I know I'm demanding but that's not a dream, we expect better

04/04/2024: Excellent welcome, smiling and friendly, with two slightly turbulent 8-year-old children who Fanny was able to channel so that we too had a great time (thanks again for the lollipops and the coloring pages). Very good cuisine, fresh and seasonal products... Really the best, I highly recommend. 🤩👍😋

24/09/2023: Welcoming restaurant. It smells like the end of the season... products are missing but we know it too late. You have to ask for the utensils, the bread, the lemon... for the seafood. Salmon tartare good and plentiful. Accompaniment to very bland zucchini. The bosses are much less invested. Only a homemade dessert but very expensive. 12 euros for three profiteroles. Very friendly waitress. Very pretty setting.

Hearty breakfast.
A little extra, a bottle of water available, it's a very nice touch.
Free parking nearby
We also loved the hotel restaurant, very good food.
The people in charge of this place are charming and pleasant, not to mention Mr.'s advice regarding the island.
I also wouldn't forget the restaurant waitress who had a smile on her lips.

26/09/2023: Client depuis des années que nous venons sur l'ile (1968) je me devais de féliciter ce restaurateur. Il est vrai qu'en pleine saison, l'ambiance est peut-être différente mais en mai ou septembre nous avons toujours été accueillis correctement et le patron sait mettre une bonne ambiance. Sa carte est très complète, le poisson très frais et la carte des vins très complète. Service impeccable et convivialité détendue. A recommander.

Hotel Restaurant L'hermitage

11/10/2023: Last year we enjoyed L'Hermitage for a week's holiday.
We were thrilled and therefore spent another two weeks of vacation there in September this year.
It was nice all around:
clean accommodation,
well-kept outdoor area,
nice pool,
very good and extensive breakfast,
very nice, domestic leaders,
friendly, helpful staff.
Short :
We are coming again next year !

06/04/2024: Last evening on the island of Oléron, we who are from Nord Pas de Calais, my partner's birthday evening as a bonus.
Very nice restaurant located on the edge of the port,
Very warm welcome, restaurant out of season so very quiet but pleasant and smiling staff,
Server who advises well and takes care of his customers (putting embers back on the brazier, came regularly to see if we were missing anything and took care to find a candle for my partner's desert) Succulent cuisine!!
Warm environment
Affordable value for money for a meal served with dignity
In short, it definitely deserves 5 stars!
If you are passing through the island we highly recommend this restaurant

31/01/2024: Very satisfied. We ordered pizzas for the family and we enjoyed it.
Beautiful, well-filled pizzas, fresh produce and a very pleasant crispy crust, even my young son ate the "sidewalks" that he always leaves behind.
Young people who have just taken over the place, and have been super pleasant, smiling and really friendly
(My photos don't do them justice but we really enjoyed it). And now a great pizza distributor for those little cravings outside of opening hours 🥰
