Discovered by chance, I don't regret it. An unpretentious bistro with high quality. Good value for money. The service is very pleasant and the food is good and of high quality. I recommend it.

This is a lovely little restaurant with good local food, well prepared. I even tried an absinthe - quite the ritual, with a sugar cube on a special slotted spoon, over which you gently pour water to dilute the 58º spirits to your taste. (The staff very kindly explained the process.) The menu (2 or 3 courses for a set price) is very good value.

What a delightful restaurant!
It's so wonderful to enjoy French cuisine at a cozy wooden table with attentive service. The waitresses were incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed; there was no need to ask for bread, water, or a bowl for the dog.
It seems obvious, even simple, but these little touches, this attention to detail, are sadly becoming rare.
And the food? A real treat! The simple pleasure of licking your fingers after savoring frog legs or finishing the seasoning of your steak tartare in front of a table full of English diners.
As you can see, here you'll eat French, and you'll eat well and with care!
My congratulations again to the team.

DELICIOUS! We stumbled upon this gem by chance!!!
So good, generous portions, bursting with flavor, everything is perfectly executed! The welcome was perfect and the service was excellent too!
It's a small detail, but the waitresses are very attentive; they notice right away when the bread basket is empty or anything else is missing. A small detail, but a big plus in my opinion! Nothing but smiles, we really loved it!
And thank you again for welcoming our dog and giving him a bowl of water 🙏🫶

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The cuisine is traditional yet refined. The owner is very friendly, passionate, and gives great advice. The atmosphere is relaxed; I highly recommend it.
I was alone, passing through Poitiers, and I had a lovely evening.
Book a little in advance.
