A friendly neighborhood bistro with a relaxed atmosphere, simple yet enjoyable cuisine, generous portions, a very good and perfectly seasoned tagine, excellent pork cheek, and a good tiramisu! It can get a little cramped, and the à la carte prices are a bit high... But the €23 set menu is excellent value for money. A good place to eat. Reservations recommended.

A wonderful discovery. Excellent cuisine, the beef cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the tart was elegant and crispy. Friendly waiters/waitresses. Highly recommended.

Excellent spot in Nantes! Le Bistro des Enfants Nantais offers delicious, generous, and high-quality cuisine, showcasing excellent ingredients. Each dish is prepared with care and flair. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the service is pleasant, and the owner is very kind, always smiling and welcoming. You'll have a wonderful time from start to finish. A fantastic experience! The food is excellent. The foie gras is simply spectacular, and the rest of the dishes maintain the same high standard: authentic French cuisine, without any frills. 22/02/2026: This is simply my favorite restaurant in Nantes. The cuisine is original, flavorful, perfectly executed, and daring too (serving a dessert made with parsnips or beets, I call that daring, yes). Simply a delight!
20/02/2026: The setting was lovely, and the menu was varied. The main course, squid and greens, was very good and well-balanced. However, the starter (the pork gyozas) lacked finesse, and the pastry wasn't supple. The dessert was decent with a nice presentation, but the taste wasn't memorable. Overall, a good restaurant.

15/03/2026: A must-visit if you're in Nantes and love mussels! The mussels with Roquefort cheese and the mussels with porcini mushroom sauce are spectacular—the best I've ever had! The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's a very peaceful restaurant where you can enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and have a quiet conversation.
