Le Bistro des Grands Hommes sur Bordeaux

Very nice place around the Place des Grands Hommes where we sat down with my son and my husband to enjoy a break in our afternoon in Bordeaux, the service was great and the cuisine too. The new owners promise to make this bistro an essential stopover for our Bordeaux afternoons!

A new lease of life for this bistro: generous cuisine, top-notch hospitality, pretty terrace brought up to date… In short, a change of ownership that is felt!

Average welcome in a place that I usually like (apart from the toilets which are really the weak point of this place). We ordered 2 tapas with our wine: very good small crushed potatoes and their mayo (small portion) and a "roasted camembert with honey and thyme": it is half of a mini camembert with too much of honey and a sprig of thyme on the side. We were barely able to share it as there was so little to get out of it, very disappointed by this choice.

Very good lunch, simple but good I recommend

A pretty bistro with a warm welcome. We had an excellent charcuterie board which was more than plentiful for the €24 we paid. It's so rare.

Ouah j’ai découvert cette brasserie avec des amis. C’est vraiment bon grand choix sur la carte et l’établissement est bien placé , jai adoré avec mes potes ce moment de partage
