Le Bistro des Lutins sur Mont-De-Lans

Just had a week at Les Lutins hotel and thought it was lovely. Location-wise it’s perfect. The rear of the hotel exits straight from the ski locker room onto the walk to the main Jandri lift and nursery slopes which are 2mins away, whilst the front of the hotel is on to the main street with numerous bars and restaurants right on the door step. The rooms are pretty basic but have very comfy beds and modern bathrooms and we had spectacular mountain views from our balcony. Breakfast is a continental buffet which, while not particularly fancy, was perfectly adequate to fuel up for a days skiing. The hotel prides itself on organic food and local produce and the fresh bread and local honey were delicious. There is also the use of a fridge in the lobby to store food to make your own mountain picnics and there are complimentary cakes and coffee in the afternoons. There is a family run feel to this hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. All in all I would thoroughly recommend and look forward to returning one day.

What a warm welcome! A huge thank you to the whole team! The room was truly lovely. The location, right at the foot of the slopes, is ideal. The breakfast, mostly homemade, is delicious, and when it isn't, the choice of local, organic, and sustainably sourced products makes all the difference. I also really appreciated being able to make myself a cup of herbal tea in the late afternoon. And a special mention for the Bar des Lutins, right next door, which is just as charming and friendly. An excellent place to enjoy a good hot chocolate, crepes and waffles.

Very well located and the staff are incredibly attentive. You can top up your ski pass at the hotel, and they lend you ski cards. The ski room is 50 meters from the slopes on the ground floor... Breakfast features homemade products... we'll be back. Thank you to the team!

A truly lovely 2-star hotel, right in the city center, less than 100 meters from the Jandri cable car station. Spacious, comfortable rooms with balconies and deckchairs. Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, but a machine for all hot drinks and pastries is available to guests until 9:00 pm. A refrigerator and microwave are available full-time. A ski and boot storage room with access to the ski lifts is also available. The only downside, for those with mobility issues, is the lack of an elevator. The TV doesn't offer Italian channels. The parking area is exclusively paid (€30 from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm).

A charming, beautiful, and welcoming hotel. The breakfast is simply perfect, with plenty of homemade cakes and local products. Having access to the breakfast room all day is fantastic, and the option to enjoy coffee and tea throughout the day is truly appreciated. The staff are absolutely lovely, always smiling and accommodating; it's very pleasant. You feel right at home. The location is also superb, right in the heart of the resort and very close to the ski slopes, with a brand-new ski locker. A wonderful, albeit too short, stay. I would gladly return.
