Passing through the region for the May 8th weekend, we stopped for dinner and found the owner and staff to be very friendly and professional. As for the meal, we enjoyed exceptional quality and quantity of fresh, delicious ingredients. Having dined in many restaurants, we have rarely experienced such a high standard. (Thank you again to the residents of Châteauroux for letting us have your terrace to ourselves on Saturday evening, May 9th!) 😉

We came to Le Bistrot d’Audenge for a family meal to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. The meal was truly hearty (+++) and, above all, delicious, with generous portions that everyone enjoyed. The welcome was also warm, which made for a pleasant experience.

The owner is simply delightful: pleasant, dynamic, and always smiling, she creates a warm atmosphere from the moment you arrive. As for the food, there's nothing to criticize; the dishes are as delicious as ever, prepared with care, and the homemade bread remains a true treat. There's a consistent level of quality that's truly gratifying. The service is also excellent, with waitresses who are always energetic and smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's a place I've always loved and that continues to live up to all its promises!
