Le Bistrot de la Mère Michette sur Serres-Castet

Lunch on a weekday. The place is pleasant with its veranda, the small room with the bar, and a view of another large room at the back. A young woman greeted us with a smile. After watching her for a few minutes, I realized she was running everything single-handedly. Many regulars who work in the area were there, trying to make her job a little easier. We chose the set menu for €18. There were four starters to choose from, two main courses (one meat and one fish), and five or six dessert options. The ingredients seemed fresh and well-prepared. The desserts were probably not homemade, but they were good. Good value for money, and a big thank you to this young woman who provided efficient, quick, and friendly service.

A friendly welcome and an appetizing set menu. It would be nice if the dishes were served a little hotter... The service is quite fast, which is appreciated by people who work in the area.

The service is friendly, humorous, and quick; the food is tasty and mostly homemade. The takeover of Mère Michette by her employee continues the formula that worked in the past: delicious food and warm service.
