We had a lovely evening at Bistrot de la Pastière. The service was attentive, the menu was extensive, and the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. They also had a good wine list.

Dinner in the evening by the flames of the pellet stove. A very good restaurant in terms of food, service, and atmosphere... A warm and welcoming place I return to regularly... Le Bistrot de la Pastière is a must-try if you haven't been and a reliable choice for everyone else.

I visit your establishment about twice a year and have always appreciated the quality of your food. This time, however, the experience was somewhat less satisfactory.
The food remains excellent; there's no fault to be found with the quality of the dishes. However, the meat wasn't cooked to my liking: it was served rare instead of medium, and I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked.
Furthermore, I had to ask three times for a carafe of water before finally receiving it.
Finally, upon leaving the establishment, apart from the young woman at the register, no one greeted us. A simple goodbye seems to me to be the basic courtesy.
I wanted to share these comments with you in a constructive spirit, as I appreciate your establishment and hope to find the same level of service I've come to expect.

A favorite spot in Gadagne!
We go there often, and it's a pleasure in every season: the terrace is lovely in summer, and the veranda is cozy and warm in winter.
The cuisine is sophisticated and refined, with absolutely magnificent wood-fired meat.
Special mention for the duck breast, undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten!

I wanted to introduce my parents to this restaurant because we had had a very good experience there previously, but this time we were disappointed. When making the reservation, we requested a table away from the bar, but we ended up right in front of it. The sound system was playing music, but also commercials and the news (not great for the atmosphere).
As for the meal, the starters and main courses were satisfactory in terms of both taste and presentation. However, we were very disappointed with the desserts, which, while very generous, were not very refined: the tiramisu was made with very dry biscuits and had no mascarpone flavor, the babas had a very coarse, dry, and poorly soaked dough, and the cream puffs were overflowing with tasteless whipped cream. Another issue concerned the wines. Several local wines were out of stock, so we had to choose a more expensive wine by the 50cl bottle. This was served to us in a carafe. This is the first time we've seen this kind of practice, which means we can't see the bottle being served or taste the wine beforehand. These comments are intended to be constructive, and we hope they will help you improve certain aspects of the organization and the quality of the desserts.
