I have to agree with Hans. This is a hidden gem with an exceptional standard of food. I had the special of the day, a raw salmon dish that was magnificent. The service was faultless and the decor pleasant. I will tell everyone I know to make a detour to Argentan just to eat here. Magnificent.

First meal at the abbey bistro and certainly not the last!! A very pleasant setting and succulent cuisine. The dishes are an explosion of flavors with a magnificent presentation. Bravo to the chef and his team!

08/01/2026: A fantastic discovery! We ate lunch there today as part of a company move, and the service (for about twenty people, mind you) was impeccable, and the food... Delicious! And so indulgent! 🤤 And all vegetarian too... Thank you to the team! 👍🏼

08/11/2025: An excellent place! The owner is exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. The food is delicious, prepared with fresh, local ingredients (even the meat!), and everything is homemade. The service is quick, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend it! Thank you again for your hospitality.
