Had lunch here while taking a Chablis wine tasting tour. Ordered the plat devour for both of us. Delicious!

The patio was so cute. Perfect for a good weather day. Bathroom was clean. The service was great. Huge wine list. The food was good too. The salad we got had the most buttery lettuce, and overall so much flavor, it was such a good salad. The fish was great the butternut squash puree was a bit flavorless. This fish itself was perfectly cooked but not a stunning dish like the salad was. I would definitely go back here.

The snails were under-seasoned. The salad was overly vinegary and served with rancid walnuts, apple and endive in overly large pieces, and raisins placed on top, giving the impression that it had been thrown together hastily, even though there was only one table occupied! I find it hard to believe these starters were prepared by the chef. Two euros for a bottle of tap water is outrageous. I'm very hesitant to return.

The hotel restaurant promises a lot, but also delivers. Excellent food and service. Excellent meals - portions were too large in our opinion. We overate between the starters and main courses. The ambiance isn't so nice - it's just the hotel dining room. Dog-friendly. Oh yes: Expensive. But fair for what's on offer... The wine list is as thick as the Frankfurt phone book (seriously). I would have loved to have a look at their wine cellar. €1,000 bottles of wine are no problem. At the other end, a glass of Chablis for €5. There's something for everyone.

We ate here numerous times during an extended stay in Chablis and enjoyed our meals each time. We tried various dishes and thought that they were all delicious. We were always greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Overall the service was great - attentive and friendly. Reservations, especially on Sunday, are a good idea.
