Le Bistrot du Broc sur Bourron-Marlotte

Les plats sont bons, la cuisine est traditionnelle. Le service est efficace même le dimanche quand le restaurant est plein.

Le restaurant , assez discret vue d'extérieur est chaleureux et réconfortant dès que l'on y pénètre. Le personnel, actif, professionnel et solidaire ( polyvalence du personnel notable), vous met à l'aise. Ambiance bistrot, bouchon lyonnais , sympa. Les plats: Os a moelle,je conseille, belle entrée en matière. Les ris de veau snackés à la provençale sont à la fois croustillants et moelleux. Côte de cochon: si vous aimez le goût et le gras c'est un regale des papilles. Malgré les légumes un peu fades la lotte à la pistache était excellente. Le plateau de fromage agrémenté par un saint Nectaire coulant et goutû me fut l'occasion d'être déssus pour la seule fois du repas par un comté trop jeune et servi de façon trop généreuse. Mention spéciale pour les profiteroles et bien sûr la cave à vin avec des bouteilles exeptionnelles a des prix trés raisonnables: bravo!

We ate last night at the Bistrot du Broc, not bad overall, but a few points were a little disturbing. I ordered the veal kidneys, medium rare, they arrived lukewarm, and very limited in cooking. The waiter sent them back to the kitchen to cook them again, it was better, but still very pink for the larger ends. Otherwise the starters were very good, the other dishes too, and the desserts really good too! For the service, the waiter who took care of bringing us the two bottles of wine, neither presented it to us nor had it tasted, just placed it on the table and "basta", and no presentation of the accompaniments to the dishes. In the same way my side dish arrived out of sync with my main course, which is a shame. Finally, the waiter takes the dishes from the table without even asking if we had finished or not… not very professional. Generally speaking, nonchalant attitude of two of the servers (the one who took our order was, however, very nice and attentive). At the end when it was time to pay, waitresses behind the bar were whispering with a false English accent (we spoke English at the table), making most of us uncomfortable, given the nonchalant attitude of a front servers. It wasn't necessarily mean, but very clumsy and gave the impression of making fun a little... once again not very professional... Too bad because the dishes were good and the setting was really pleasant. With a better attitude from certain servers, it could honestly be a level above.

Very friendly and very well decorated restaurant. Several atmospheres because several rooms. The dishes are tasty. I highly recommend ☺️.

A very, very good time. Quality cuisine, very pleasant service and a simply brilliant wine list. A long time at the end of the evening chatting with the boss and tasting a good bottle. In short, a very nice discovery on the list of things to do again.

Very warm welcome, excellent cuisine, however the prices are a little exaggerated, €22 for a tartare, €12 for a 50cl beer. It stings. And the whole card is like that. It's very good and the service is great but the card is too expensive. I forgot to say that it's not easy to park in the neighborhood. Inflation has a good back after whatever it costs! The increase in certain raw materials and the 7 days a week service do not explain the excessive prices of drinks, starters, main courses and desserts that you charge. Still happy that the fries are "homemade" and the meat French. A coke costs €4.90, a pint of beer costs €12 and is on par with the hefty bills. But it might be a 1er crus coke😂

Very pleasant place. The staff is very attentive to customers, very attentive and friendly. The wonderful cuisine, delicious, hearty, very fine and of exceptional quality! We had a pleasant time. Many thanks 🙂 🙂

Friendly, original and local. Great bistro food in the tradition of the classic French bistros. Some nice modern touches and, as a personal favorite, also dishes with veal liver, kidney and sweetbreads. We loved the paté with 3 kinds of meat. Luke warm, light and with a great taste. Do not compare this with a traditional paté with a lot of liver. This is more refined and surprising. Also great steak, sweetbreads, goose liver and mussels. It is a cosy place with a nice backyard and, another plus, a wine shop at the side. The wide wine selection is good and they serve also high quality wines. All the wines can be bought at the shop also. We feel very happy that places like this still exists! Friendly, good food, nice wine and tradition, what more do you want?
