Be careful... We are talking about exceptional cuisine. Simple products. A well decorated plate. A slightly high price but believe me it's well worth it.

Food was good, location not very attractive. The waiter had no knowledge of wines. He also did not bring in anyone else to advise us. You don't expect this given the level of food and therefore the price/quality ratio.

It only seems like a single experience at dinner, for the last Saturday of the holidays, but what satisfaction to punctuate a stay in the land of castles!
We started with hot frog legs in their crunchy tempura, highlighted by the finesse of a zucchini-spinach glaze.
The tasty burrata di bufala was accompanied by surprising and very tasty pineapple tomatoes marinated in cider vinegar.
The classic confit lamb shoulder was perfect.
The prime rib, suggestion of the day, for two, would have made three happy with its generosity. Perfect cooking, rare and hot, tender as can be desired and with a very superior quality “grain”. Even though the piece of meat would have been sufficient on its own, the brown roux that accompanied it added to the flavor and balance of the whole thing. A real success.
After all that, the light madeleines, soft and crispy, punctuated a moment of rare pleasure.
The Bordeaux Moulis “La salle” went very well with the whole thing.
Precise and discreet service, little waiting; It goes without saying, as we return to the Region, that we will stop again to explore the menu of this excellent cook's "Bistrot".
And when we look up from the plate, it is to contemplate, over the Loire, the historic architecture of the city of Blois.

Came without reservation. Vs advises to reserve.
1 starter €18.50 Calf sweetbreads in a MINI bowl. 1 tablespoon of mushrooms supplemented with pieces of carrot! 3 tablespoons of sweetbreads, difficult to cut because they are poorly peeled. Excellent sauce: phew I call that expensive value for money! 6/10.
My dish: very well cooked thick sea bass fillet. Excellent. Bland black rice because it lacked salt and pepper. 9/10 for the fish. Rice 6/10.
After waiting 15 minutes for my coffee I had to call a waitress. The cashier offered it as an apology. Nice gesture.
My friend had a long-cooked lamb. She was disappointed...
I would have liked to give the bar a 4 star but was too disappointed with the entrance. I dreamed of eating sweetbreads! I caught a glimpse of him...

Sur les conseils d’un ami pour la cuisine et la vue: le service est soigné et rapide, les assiettes jolies et bien garnies.A notre goût, on aurait aimé une cuisine un peu plus relevée ; les matières premières sont de qualité
