We came for the first time at the beginning of September and we enjoyed our meal and the service and we went back last weekend and still as good, don't change a thing

Copious and delicious plate! Perfect Pavlova 😍 service a little long on Friday lunchtime when I had lunch there. And quite nice value for money, even really pleasantly surprising!

Stopped by for lunch whilst touring the area. 20€ for 3 good courses and coffee. The service was very good too. Visited on a Monday when the bistro had a captive market. The place was full of a mixture of locals and tourists.

We are the type of people who do a lot of detailed planning. But once in awhile, things don't go to plan. With some serendipity, we stumbled on Monflanquin by accident. A pleasant one. I have read the reviews. This place and these folks really are doing good things. We had a nice lunch and arrived before the expected lunch hour having missed breakfast. They were very kind, seated us and provided a very respectable lunch of pasta and smoked salmon. Cafe Leigois was also excellent. Brava for a decent meal in an area that certainly relies on tourism and tourists.

16/08/2024: We came last night to eat, very professional welcome, sunny terrace in a quiet and relaxing place overlooking the lake and sunset 😍 The menu is not exhaustive but it is more than enough and changes very regularly, there is something for everyone. We had a flank steak which was very tender and a delicious flamenkuch (or I wasn't even ashamed to ask for a takeaway box), the homemade fries were a treat. 😛 What I really liked was the attention paid by the gentleman when I told him that I was sleeved so he advised me on the menu and was ready to make portions and a reduced price in order to satisfy me. I really appreciated this gesture which is quite rare in restaurants. Friends operate or not, I recommend this restaurant. See you soon 🫡😊😊

Restaurant Moulin de Boulede

12/08/2024: What a beautiful domaine, beautifully cared for by warm and caring hosts Rolf and Karen! Spacious plot, with the opportunity to combine privacy and communality. Located close to Monflanquin with everything close by for groceries, food, drinks, etc. Vegan haute cuisine from dear daughter Danne during the table d'hotes. Spacious and cool houses, in (renovated) authentic French style. The refrigerator in the Bouchonnière is too small for a 6-person house. Swimming pools, trampoline and plenty of other play equipment for the children to enjoy themselves. We were lucky with wonderful weather and were able to relax on the domaine and in the region. Definitely recommended and plenty of reasons for us to come back!
11/08/2024: Boulede is a wonderful place to spend your holiday; beautiful spot, beautiful, spacious and clean houses with attention to details. The children will have a great time in the swimming pools, on the trampoline or playing games with their peers. We enjoyed the hammock and the great cooking during the table d'hote. Interspersed with trips in the area, it was a great place to relax. Thanks Karen & Rolf; see you next year ☀️
