A small restaurant in a discreet location that is worth stopping there. This evening for us a Caesar salad, well made, rich in gizzards and liver, with a sauce that goes well. Or a good quality andouille, well cooked in its blue cheese sauce accompanied by “homemade” fries, a treat! Honestly, well done, and it seems that the burgers are a reference, next time!

If you go through the interior of the village then you will be facing the "Pas sage" terrace... The entrance is located in a small alley on the left going down... A pretty black iron gate opens onto the kitchen on the right and at the back an air-conditioned room. You are then greeted by the chef and a charming waitress. The menu is varied. We chose to eat hamburgers which we could customize to our taste. The fries are homemade and the ingredients are high quality (PDO). The burgers are very filling. We had a great time in this restaurant. We recommend it to you! ☺️😀😋

Nous avons passé un agréable moment en famille sur une table dans la rue très calme. Les assiettes sont copieuses et bien présentées, le personnel est aux petits soins mais un peu débordé mais le temps d'attente est assez faible dans l'ensemble. Une étoile en moins dans la note car il manquait des desserts et des parfums de glace sur la carte, dommage en période estivale... Mais je recommande ce restaurant pour manger des produits de qualité. Continuez ainsi.

We were in Barjac this weekend. The first evening, we went to this restaurant because their stars on Google made us want it. And we left with stars in our eyes🤩🤩🤩 Homemade cuisine, pleasant service, quiet and relaxing place for a dinner. So we went back the next day without hesitation. We were delighted!!! VALUE FOR MONEY IS EXCELLENT 👍👍👍

Nous sommes venus en famille, le soir de la fête taurine. 4 burgers composés de produits excellents. Par contre, ça a été compliqué pour la demoiselle au service qui n'a pas réussi à gérer notre table et une table de 10 qui est arrivée 30 minutes après nous. Du coup, une bonne partie de notre commande ne nous est jamais arrivée. Dommage.

16/03/2024: We had an incredible stay. We chose the Saint Louis suite, spacious and with a hammam. This suite offers a very pretty view of the Cévennes, and is pleasantly decorated. The hosts are very flexible about breakfast times, a real plus. Good quality bedding, hearty breakfast, easy location, very pleasant hosts. And a very beautiful decoration. I warmly recommend.
14/03/2024: We have had the pleasure of staying at La Gorguille on several occasions and each visit is enchanting. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Bruno and Tamara, who created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The table d'hôte is simply delicious. Bruno, a true culinary artist, delighted us with his tasty dishes, enhanced by carefully selected wines. Every meal is a true experience. The residence itself is a gem, decorated with charm and elegance. It is a true haven of peace, where you immediately feel at home. The three suites are magnificent, each with its own character and story to tell. We have had the pleasure of returning to La Gourguille three times, and each time, it is a renewed pleasure. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience, full of charm and culinary delights. Thanks to Bruno and Tamara for their exceptional hospitality, we will happily return!
