Le Bistrot, France sur Dol-De-Bretagne

We were on holiday nearby and stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance. The waitress spoke little English, but was very friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The menu was only in French, which wasn't a problem at all. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous enough that everyone would be satisfied. The drinks selection left nothing to be desired. I highly recommend a local bottle of cider – it was absolutely fantastic. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop by. The specialty was the baby pig confit. The burgers were the highlight for our children. The daily specials are highly recommended. Once again, a big thank you to the chef and the waitstaff for a wonderful evening.

This is the best restaurant in Dol. We've been to this restaurant three times and we've always had a great meal. The waitress is fantastic and always smiling, and her husband cooks like a chef... Can't wait to go back. I highly recommend their Camembert! 🤤

Pleasant place, very good service, warm welcome. The andouillette was good, as was the charcuterie. I regretted that the bread wasn't from an artisanal bakery (it's a small thing, but it makes a big difference!), and I didn't enjoy the fries, which was a shame.
