The welcome was absolutely fantastic! I spent more time at Le Blanchon than on the slopes, it was so enjoyable.

We're here right now. Every time we come to Valberg, it's our little hot dog, beer, and fries break... Great atmosphere, music, the owner is fantastic... The service is great, and the food is delicious! (For those with daughters who eat hot dogs with nothing in them 😂)

The place to be in Valberg! Ultra-fast service, with a smile, right at your table. Unbeatable value for money, free sunshine, and incredible Reblochon crêpes. Go quickly, the snow is melting...

At the bottom of the Ragès ski lift, Le Blanchon is a small restaurant with a fantastic location for soaking up the sun. We discovered it three years ago, and it's been our go-to spot ever since, every time we come skiing. The food is excellent, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are always generous! You can come for lunch, but also simply for a refreshing drink or a hot beverage, depending on the weather. A Nutella crepe with a hot chocolate for an afternoon treat is a wonderful way to end the day before heading back to the resort 😎 Besides the food, the whole team is incredibly friendly: helpful and always smiling. When it's busy, everyone goes out of their way to serve you as quickly as possible. Finally, for those who want to relax, there are sun loungers facing south in the afternoon with soft background music at a very reasonable volume. And several times during the season, they also host big DJ parties that start around the time the slopes close and liven up the whole area. In short, a small wooden cabin that doesn't look like much but is worth a visit to eat, rest or simply for the warm atmosphere.

Great wrap, good beer, right next to the slopes, perfect for recharging before heading back to skiing.

Tomorrow I'm working, burger, goat cheese and honey, excellent, very tender! We had a goat cheese and honey tarte tatin, also incredible! Go for it, without hesitation!

Always a warm welcome from Karine and her team… the place to be in Valberg for lunch at the foot of the slopes or a snack. The crêpes are excellent, as are the Croq Montagne sandwiches… try them without hesitation!
