Le Blast sur Nice

I highly recommend it. The service is very fast, and the cocktails are excellent. Good value for money with a great atmosphere. I'll definitely go back if you want to have a good time with friends in a fun atmosphere. Food is served until midnight. It's really top-notch.

We were very warmly welcomed by Laeticia, the service was quick and impeccable, the atmosphere was fantastic, and we even changed the playlist!

The bar is welcoming, the waitress Leticia served us with a big smile, a very good place to have a drink or a meal!!

A lot of the restaurants in Nice are very seafood heavy. We wanted a break from that for the night, which is actually the reason why we opted to try this place. It has a solid menu with American food. The bar is good also.

I recommended this restaurant to some friends visiting Nice and I looked up the reviews and I'm surprised it doesn't have at least a 4.0 rating. I came here with a friend and the food was delicious, the burger was great and same with the pizza and the drinks were reasonably priced....this was in 2019 and I hope it's still the same!

Restaurant right in front of the Nice market in the old town. We ate well, but the cuisine is simple. The portions are excessively large. The seafood was good, but the pasta was overcooked. There are better options in the area.

I'll only comment on the café/bar aspect. There was a time when the atmosphere had become quite oppressive, even unpleasant. But that's improved. The music isn't excessively loud, and coffee on weekdays and in the morning costs €1.60 with a square of chocolate brownie. The terrace is relatively comfortable with its eclectic seating. The problem with this café is that it's not on the sunny side. Blast has an American pool table upstairs, which is rarely used during the day but packed in the evenings during the summer.

A good and inexpensive cocktail!

I often come to Blast with my friends: it's clearly one of the best bars on Cours Saleya in terms of quality, quantity, and price. The atmosphere is great, and it's a place we like to come back to. However, a major drawback is the very limited vegetarian options. They're either cold dishes (bagels, sandwiches), not really suitable for winter, or junk food like mozzarella sticks. The other day, I asked if it was possible to have a burger with an egg instead of meat. At first, it didn't seem possible. The manager came over, I explained that I'm vegetarian, and I even offered to leave the meat out and pay extra for the egg, no problem. His response was: "No, I'm not going to charge you for the egg." The result (unfortunately, I didn't take a picture): a literally empty burger. Inside, there was an egg, three pieces of mushroom, and some caramelized onions. That's it. I expected that, at the very least, since there was no meat, they would have compensated with the other ingredients in the burger. When it came time to pay, I was charged the price of a regular burger: €13.50. Honestly, at that price, for a nearly empty bun, I felt very uncomfortable. If I were the manager, I would have been ashamed to charge that price. The fairest solution would have been to leave the meat out (my friends could have eaten it) and charge me an extra €1 for the egg. I felt completely ripped off. It's a real shame because I really like this place, but this kind of situation definitely makes me not want to eat there again.
