You can taste the passion and skill behind the cooking—the kind of dishes that bring a smile to your face and make your dining experience truly memorable. And then there's what makes this place truly unique: the traditional games of Northern France. A real bonus! They create a playful and lively atmosphere, perfect for extending the evening and sharing a typical regional experience. For that alone, the place stands out. Now, to be completely honest, a quick word about the charcuterie board. It seemed a little lighter than what you usually find in the area, where the portions are often more generous. Nothing that spoils the experience, but just something to keep in mind. In short: A warm, lively bistro with real personality, excellent food, and a delightful regional feel. The charcuterie board could be more generous, but the overall experience is well worth the trip.

Nice food, delicious potjevelsh. We arrived at 12:15 pm, the room was cold. No heating! They turned it on after we asked; otherwise, we would have gone across the street!

An immersion in northern cuisine... A delight... the grey shrimp croquettes... ham hock... mmm

The food is made with very local specialties, so the quality is guaranteed in a 200-year-old tavern attached to a former forge dating back a century. Beautiful local decor with fresh hop flowers and miniature "giants" (a type of Breton effigy). The menu is very reasonable. We'll be back! 😋

I had the opportunity to go to the estaminet this afternoon with some friends. Typical decor, decent food and service. However, given the weather (rain and wind), the estaminet was not heated, a shame!!!

One of the best Flemish carbonades, we highly recommend it!
