I went to checkout 11 around 4 pm. I was very warmly welcomed by a young man named Lucas, incredibly kind! It's nice not to be just another ordinary customer for once!

Nothing special about this place, but worth to visit

This morning I went to Auchan to take advantage of the wine fair. There were wines everywhere, displayed at the entrance and on the shelves, making it difficult to easily find the specific wines I'd chosen in advance from the catalog. A woman named Rita, who said she was a sales representative for Auchan's beverage department, came to help me. Very kind and knowledgeable about all the locations, out-of-stock items, and available replacements, she was a great help and saved me a lot of time. A big thank you!

Still a bit too much product coming from abroad

Large, reasonably clean toilets available

We always stop here. This time we picked up some smoked trout, goose rillettes in tubs and some pork rillettes in glass jars from St. Christophe, fruit, vegetables, saumon fume sauce, bread and water for the journey. You need a euro for the shopping trolley and there is a cash machine at the main entrance which we used. The till gave us the option to pay by card in pounds or euros. We paid in euros. This time we also purchased several pairs of cotton pyjamas, cotton briefs and a few items for our eventual journey home. I cleared the shelf of Riz à la forestière Poulet rôti as it is a firm favourite accompaniment.

I just called Auchan for some information. Someone named Zut (I can't remember his last name) helped me with a toy for my dogs. I think it was Alexandre. He was really attentive and professional. Big companies need to keep friendly, professional people. He knows what he's talking about. Much respect to this gentleman who works in the pet department. He's young. Thank you, and I wish you a bright future.

UK MOTORHOMES PLEASE READ This supermarket car park is not safe for UK motorhomes. While we were in the store two migrants broke into our motorhome through a side window and when we came back a security guard was waiting for us as he witnessed them escaping through the skylight. Our dog was in the van which we think prevented them from stealing anything. We were staying overnight on a campsite and the owner said they are always breaking into UK motorhomes in the Auchan car park to try and get to the UK. The following day we went back to the store and my wife went shopping and I stayed in the van, I witnessed two migrants walking around looking into UK vans and another two trying to break into another UK motorhome through the window I shouted and they ran off. I have to say the security guard was very helpful and we do like shopping in the Auchan stores & will continue to use this store but one of us will stay in the van in future.
