I love this restaurant! The 1930s brasserie atmosphere is incredible, and the waiters, especially Xavier and Jeremy, are always very friendly. The food is also very good, and the market dishes are always very well chosen. It's a true institution.

A really find. It looks tiny, but upstairs is a Warren of tables squeezed in everywhere and it was packed. Great traditional French food. We loved it.

My partner and I ate at this restaurant for the second time during a stopover in Versailles. The first time, everything was excellent and perfect; we loved the atmosphere, the meal, and the service. It was even the first time I'd ever tipped the staff! Following that experience, I decided to recreate the experience a year later for Valentine's Day, and it's definitely our favorite restaurant—everything is top-notch! The staff even gave my partner a rose to give to me—these little touches are so appreciated! In short, if you're looking for a quality restaurant with excellent service in Versailles, I highly recommend this one!

The staff is lovely, attentive, and truly listens to your needs.
The dishes are hearty and generous, featuring delicious French cuisine that's a real treat.
Special mention for the dessert, an absolutely remarkable floating island, a true hallmark of the restaurant!

Lunch break before exploring the gardens. The lentil salad was lukewarm (could be better), but the kidney casserole was excellent and very generous. Profiteroles to finish. The welcome and service were impeccable.

Good French cuisine with good service and a pleasant atmosphere, affordable prices, and the only restaurant on the Place du Marché open all day...
Good, typical French cuisine, served pleasantly in a warm and inviting atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. It's also the only restaurant on the market square (the "carrés") open all day, which is a plus for lunch at 4:00 PM or later 😊.

While the decor was nice, the staff was rather rushed and not very welcoming, and the food was uninspired: I ordered a perfectly cooked egg that was quite bland (served with mushrooms and chestnuts) and a steak tartare that was too greasy for my taste (was it pre-prepared with mayonnaise?). For a starter and main course set menu at €32, I was disappointed. In short, I felt like I was being treated like a tourist. Perhaps it just wasn't my night...

I’ve been there for lunch on a Saturday without reservation. Great welcome and atmosphere from the entrance. The service was a mazing, thanks. We took the beef and the scallops and the Camembert cheese as a starter. All were amazing, tasty and fresh. To me this is great value for money. I’ll be back.
