As a true connoisseur of rib-eye steaks, I ate the best of my life here! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it. Great restaurant open on Sundays. The entrance with the outdoor courtyard adds a certain charm. The atmosphere is friendly, as is the decor. The chef prepared the meats to perfection, and the gratin side dish was more than perfect, with generous portions. The desserts, whether it was the French toast or the crème brûlée, were also perfect. I was only passing through, but I will definitely be back!

26/06/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about, it's practically perfect. Impeccable. My wife and I had an unforgettable time at Le Chardonnay. The dishes were perfectly executed with wonderful new flavors, the wine list was carefully curated, and the service was impeccable. A lovely restaurant in an exceptional setting at the foot of Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral. The price was fair and reasonable. We'll be back and we'll definitely recommend it. 👌
07/06/2026: We arrived just as the kitchen was about to close, but they still served us very kindly and we were able to enjoy a wonderful meal in true French bistro style. The menu was concise but exquisite. As we arrived at the end of lunch service, some of the things we ordered were sold out. They offered us delicious alternatives and compensated us, although it wasn't necessary, by offering us complimentary wine. The dessert, a Paris-Brest with mushroom caramel sauce, was delightful. The coffee was accompanied by mini financiers and blackcurrant jellies. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and we will definitely return if we are ever in Clermont-Ferrand.

03/07/2026: The restaurant is on a quiet, shaded side street, perfect for dining on the terrace. The food is very good, but the "classic" truffade might be a bit small if you have a hearty appetite and are sticking to a starter/main or main/dessert option. In that case, opt for the "grande" truffade, or go for the full three-course meal. Overall, a very good experience.
11/06/2026: We came to this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday. We were very warmly welcomed, the atmosphere was superb. We didn't have to wait too long. The food was good, especially the truffade (be careful not to put too much salt on your fries). But overall, we had a great time, a lovely experience. I recommend it! 🥰
