An old-fashioned, working-class restaurant, with all that implies: inexpensive (set menu €15.90 for a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert), basic but efficient and hearty (don't expect a gourmet experience, but you'll leave with a full stomach, and it's definitely not fast food).
The decor is also old-fashioned, but that's part of its charm.
The owner is, again, old-fashioned: it's all or nothing, and it's best not to expect a big, welcoming smile; you might be disappointed. Restaurant vouchers not accepted.
We were greeted with a smile, served an inexpensive and very generous French meal, in a rather nostalgic atmosphere, according to the radio!
