Le Bois Gourmand sur Champagnole

Very large, warm hotel, very good service, a warm welcome. The rooms are clean. There is a restaurant, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi and hammam. I really recommend. The hotel is well located.

Even though we were neither hotel guests nor had a reservation, we were given a table for two. The staff is friendly and helpful, even if you don't speak French very well. We were very enthusiastic about the food. Great French cuisine, beautifully prepared and very tasty.

We had booked one night with relaxation area and half board. We were very well received, attentive staff, excellent local meals, magnificent hotel and restaurant, we recommend this extremely rare establishment.

Un super endroit très agréable avec une belle terrasse. Les plats sont beaux et bons, les seuls bémols sont une attente un peu longue entre les plats et un personnel (en dehors du maître d’hôtel) un peu froid et un peu mou (obligé de relancer plusieurs fois pour avoir de l’eau ou du pain). Un bon rapport qualité prix malgré tout.

Nous étions déjà venu déjeuner dans ce restaurant il y a quelques années et avons aussi bien mangé cette fois,les plats sont bons et bien présentés, rien à redire côté cuisine. Par contre comme lors de notre première visite nous avons été déçu par le service, les serveurs n'ont pas de tables attitrée et cela donne lieu à des situations fâcheuses, notamment quand on vous amène la carte des desserts alors que vous n'avez eu que l'entrée ou quand on vous signale lors du choix du dessert que pour les moelleux au chocolat il y aura 20 mns d'attente et qu'il aurait fallu les commander au début du repas, et qu'au début du repas le serveur vous a dit: pour les desserts on verra le moment venu. Vraiment dommage car on mange très bien, allez y pour le repas...pas pour le service.

The menus don't change from one year to the next, which is disappointing. The dishes are good. But when you come twice a year you always dine with the same menu or the same menu. I found the park not very well maintained this time. €17 for breakfast is also expensive. There is an improvement to be made. What I can't stand is when you order a wine, on the menu, each time they tell you I have more and they offer you a more expensive wine. Each time we are entitled to it in other years and again this time. Apart from that the hotel is clean, the rooms also with a sober minimalist decor. Good bedding.

We went to Bois Dormant in Champagnole to eat garlic and parsley frogs and a good desert afterwards. We were not disappointed with our choice Seeing the other dishes pass by for the other customers, they seemed appetizing and tasty We chose as wine a small Chablis which we recommend see photos The staff is smiling and polite although work is currently underway to restore the dining room

Best place to stay after our drive across the Alps, everything is absolutely spotless, the rooms are super quiet, you're basically sleeping amidst a forest. Beds are very comfortable, and I had the best night sleep there I've had in ages
