Le Bombay sur Montargis

Très bon accueil serveur souriant cuisine très bonne et très copieuse bon rapport qualité prix bonne découverte à montargis j habite à Paris.

EDIT end of August 2024: I went back to this restaurant. I start by saying that the servers are really pleasant and professional. On the other hand, I was even more disappointed with my plate than the first time. I had the Biryani Maharaja again. When it arrives it's quite full... but inside 2 small pieces of chicken, 2 balls of crushed meat and 2 shrimp... 18 euros is excessive. The Quima naan is too dry and does not perform its role as bread. 24 euros all with fruit juice.... it's starting to get expensive for what it is. A fan of Indian restaurants, that's it for me in Montargis. I am removing one star from my initial review. April 2024: In terms of atmosphere/decor: the restaurant is pretty but quite classic for an Indian. The tables are fairly well spaced and allow you to have a conversation with your friends. As for the main course: I really liked my main course (Biryani maharaja) as well as my cheese and garlic naan. The plates are generous in volume, although it would be preferable to have less rice and more meat. The plus of the restaurant, the service was done on the evening of April 29 by a very polite and professional waiter. To do again!

I have been there several times to eat, both at lunchtime and in the evening, the customer is always treated with great consideration. The dishes are simply delicious and the atmosphere is very warm. A good culinary experience every time I eat there and I always return with just as much pleasure.

Having tested the "old Bombay", the "new Bombay" is worth the detour. Finally an Indian restaurant worthy of the name in Montargis! For the eye, a refreshed facade, a new decor, but above all it is the quality of the dishes which has (greatly) evolved! We bring out endless industrial products purchased at Métro or at Tang, always with the same flavors in the background. A simple but tasty and very fragrant cuisine. A great (re)discovery!

Very good little restaurant, very calm and friendly atmosphere. A wide choice of delicious and generous specialties. The server is very discreet, very polite and courteous. Cleanliness 10/10, especially the WC.. We will come back to taste other specialties :)

It's good, but the fact that one day, with the lady, the rice was included with the vegetables, which I specify appear as a dish, and that a few weeks later the son tells us that no, it's separate . And in a really... not welcoming tone. We have to come to an agreement.. it’s a shame because when there are several of us it changes things In conclusion the food is good, the welcome could be much better

I recommend the Bombay great atmosphere we booked for 4 people the 4 people are super happy with the meal I highly recommend this restaurant with its warm welcome with respect thank you again for this experience I will come back!!
