Regional cuisine with locally sourced fresh produce,a really nice place to have a meal and some local wine.

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance. What a pleasant surprise! A daily special for €12 on weekdays, quick and friendly service, simple yet delicious food, a gourmet coffee with lovely little portions… what more could you ask for? For beer lovers, they have draft beer from the neighboring Thiriez brewery. Open every lunchtime except Saturday. I'll gladly return on my next visit to Esquelbecq.

What more can I say! Perhaps a little frustrated that I couldn't have dessert, because after the appetizer platter and main course, comes the guilt-inducing moment of worrying about the calories consumed! The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was good. Next time, it will be a main course and dessert without the appetizer platter :)
