We had a lovely meal at Le Bonaparte. Staff are helpful, menu is great and really well priced. Highly recommend for a chilled out dinner off the main drag in Cassis.

We highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent value for money and the warm welcome from the owner. We spent two very enjoyable evenings there during our holiday and will definitely return on our next trip to Cassis.

Food: 5 stars fully deserved! seafood and fish were exceptional. Service: impossible to use credit card due to some issue.....had to look for atm machine. Ambient: Good atmosphere but the "Canicule" wasunbearable...need more fan! ovaerall i strongly reccomend..

23/10/2026: We had booked for two people this evening. The setting is authentic, the staff very pleasant, not to mention the food, which was excellent! A big thank you for this delightful experience!
20/10/2026: Wandering around Cassis looking for a unique place to eat and found L’Escalier. The restaurant had two cozy rooms straddling the avenue and a great menu and that’s what lured us in! We sat in the smaller 4 table room. Service was prompt and pleasant. I had the Filet de bœuf poêlé nature with Roquefort sauce and my husband had the Entrecôte poêlée aux morilles sauce. Both came with pommes pavé and salade. The meals were so delicious. I can’t stop thinking about the steaks! If we’re ever back in Cassis, we will definitely be back! Merci beaucoup!

04/09/2026: Beautifully tucked away. Authentic, rustic, relaxed. A little something extra, light bites, food, and plenty of open wines. What more could you want for a perfect summer evening?
22/08/2026: Excellent wine shop, the owner is a great character who brings you very good wines, and the tables on the street are beautifully placed. We had a glass of champagne for €13, a red for €8, both good, two cans of Perrier, an exceptional pan tomate, and a very good charcuterie and cheese platter. Total €65, correct.
