Le bouchon de Colleville sur Colleville-Montgomery

23/09/2026: Restaurant very close to the harbor. We came in August and received a mixed welcome from the young women at reception who initially refused us entry, claiming there were no tables available. After insisting with an older gentleman who was very friendly, he understood that you can't just let six people leave, and he arranged for us to be seated together; he was a true professional. He personally handled the service with good humor and a smile. The food was quite good. The amuse-bouche, fish rillettes, was excellent. The fish terrine was equally delicious. We really enjoyed the fish with its superb sauce. The mussels (marinière €15, with Pont l'Évêque cheese €16.20) were just okay, nothing special, and small, but they were bouchot mussels, not Asnelles mussels. The cider (€11.50) was also excellent. The panna cotta was pasty and not very good. There's parking nearby, but it fills up quickly in the summer. In the summer, remember to make a reservation.

23/09/2026: We ate here twice. We had oysters moules and seafiid platter. Food was excellent, as was the wine. Service was pleasant. We felt welcome.
