L'Ecume des Mers sur Colleville-Montgomery

Restaurant very close to the harbor. We came in August and received a mixed welcome from the young women at reception who initially refused us entry, claiming there were no tables available. After insisting with an older gentleman who was very friendly, he understood that you can't just let six people leave, and he arranged for us to be seated together; he was a true professional. He personally handled the service with good humor and a smile. The food was quite good. The amuse-bouche, fish rillettes, was excellent. The fish terrine was equally delicious. We really enjoyed the fish with its superb sauce. The mussels (marinière €15, with Pont l'Évêque cheese €16.20) were just okay, nothing special, and small, but they were bouchot mussels, not Asnelles mussels. The cider (€11.50) was also excellent. The panna cotta was pasty and not very good. There's parking nearby, but it fills up quickly in the summer. In the summer, remember to make a reservation.

We ate here twice. We had oysters moules and seafiid platter. Food was excellent, as was the wine. Service was pleasant. We felt welcome.

A wonderful discovery in Courseulles-sur-Mer! L’Écume offers delicious, refined, and generous cuisine. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes beautifully presented, and the service pleasant. A welcoming place that I wholeheartedly recommend for a truly excellent culinary experience!

The main course was very good, with a delicious fish skewer and meltingly tender pork cheek with a very good sauce. Unfortunately, the dessert was too sweet.

During our stay, we ate at this establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, fresh, and local food. The staff were incredibly kind. Everything was perfect. We absolutely recommend it!!! Dimitri from Arras :)

The gourmet seafood salad and mole with Pont l'Évêque cheese were excellent. Impeccable service. Very helpful and friendly welcome.

Great experience, no reservation and we still managed to get a table (for two), Admiral menu at €32.90 (see photos) after the meal a walk is necessary for digestion 😁😁😁, thank you to the very friendly team.
