The food was decent! However, the waiter spilled two drinks on the table, leaving my son's shorts soaked and his shirt stained. The waiter apologized, as did the cashier, but no compensation was offered, such as a cleaning service or a complimentary drink, not even for my son.
I found this very poor and unprofessional.
We were inside, and the kitchen door kept slamming, causing the veranda to vibrate. It was repetitive and very unpleasant.
This inconvenience can be avoided by eating on the terrace.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for a long time and I appreciate the warm welcome from the owner and his staff. The food is carefully prepared and delicious, and the service is impeccable. Passing through Courseulles for a few days with my 13-year-old daughter, we were craving moules frites (mussels and fries). The mussels with Pont-l'Évêque cheese there are simply delicious and served in generous portions. A very special mention goes to the homemade mayonnaise that comes with it, which is absolutely divine.

Sole meunière was serviced in very variable thickness, so price per weight would have been preferable instead of fixed price. I requested if I could get a lesser portion of the mixed seafood platter because of health problems. This was impossible. No explanation. The waiter ignored us all the time after finishing the main course; waiting means looking around, watching the tables. We had to ask twice for table water and for a extra spoon with the dessert. So all was a little disappointing. More personnel would help here. I wish it for the enthousiastic boss.
