Le Bouchon Lyonnais sur Cavaillon

When chance works in mysterious ways! We found ourselves in Cavaillon after 1:00 PM this Sunday, having been turned away from several other restaurants nearby, intending to have a simple lunch. We were tempted by the €35 set menu: the foie gras with its excellent homemade brioche, the scallops on a bed of leek fondue were magnificent, the prawn risotto was exceptional, and to finish, the chocolate profiteroles were sublime, as was the melon sundae (very, very good, according to my 88-year-old mother, a retired producer) with melon ice cream. I had been there a long time ago for a Savoyard fondue with my cousins. But I will be going back more often, even if Cavaillon isn't my favorite area. Thank you to the chef and the servers for their friendliness.

Fantastic experience! Honestly, a great little restaurant. I had the daily special, which I must admit was delicious! And the dessert was too! A real treat, and especially excellent value for money! I highly recommend it!!
