A visit to a restaurant with friends.
The service was very professional and friendly. The cuisine was semi-gastronomic, with very reasonable presentation and prices. We opted for set menus at €40 or €50. However, the foie gras starter was served with a tiny brioche; it was impossible to eat without asking for bread after three bites. The same was true for the main course: the chuck roast with port wine was served with mashed potatoes, which were good but not enough to properly complement the meat.
Finally, we weren't sure about the choice of the last "shot": a sparkling apple with a peculiar flavor, accompanied by a very acidic rhubarb bite. For us, it rather spoiled the end of the meal after a good dessert.
We won't be returning, but this is a personal choice; overall, this restaurant deserves its good reputation.
