Excellent Sunday lunch with a high-quality menu for €17 (starter/main course or main course/dessert): pan-fried scallops, then sliced ​​beef with chorizo ​​with homemade fries (or Marinières and fried mussels). It was so good that I went for dessert: mango soufflé (with a hint of rum)... delicious! Attentive and efficient service as a bonus!

Locale moderno ed elegante, cucina strepitosa, a cena due volte per riordinare il miglior foie gras mai mangiato, e altri piatti perfettamente cucinati. Ordinato anche un soufflé al mango che era perfetto. Resto con il rimpianto di non aver ordinato anche il dessert sfera di cioccolato co foglie d’oro, visto dopo al tavolo accanto. Premurosa l’accoglienza e lo sforzo per tradurre in italiano il menu. Consigliato !

!!PRICE MUCH TOO EXCESSIVE FOR THE QUALITY!! Coming to Nantes for the weekend, I browsed the restaurants on the internet that might suit my partner and myself. We agreed on this restaurant. When we arrived, no one, no customers. Surprising for a reservation at 8:30 p.m. We were disappointed with the starter, a plate of foie gras which was very limited for the price and the scallops were not wow. For the dish, apart from the presentation which I think should be reviewed for the price, the cooking was good. For dessert (chocolate sphere) the presentation as well as the taste need to be reviewed. However, the waitress was very friendly. The Dinant team in the room next to us when we paid didn't bother to greet us.

Very cozy place and pleasant staff. A few downsides: we were not asked to cook the steak. Strong smell of bleach when returning around 12 p.m.

Pour un menu à 34 euros on pouvait s'attendre à mieux. En autre il n'y avait pas de petite mise en bouche avec l'apéritif. Le dessert la sphère en chocolat pas super super. Comme on dit on n'y reviendra pas.

28/12/2023: Boulangeri (in French) or bakery (in Spanish), PAUL is a chain that you can find in different places in Nantes. This one, in particular, is very central, just a few minutes from the emblematic Plaza Royale. The place is not very big, there are barely more than 4 tables (it is only inside) but it is very cozy. Everything we ordered was very good and at a very good price. Specifically, we tried the famous Petit Paul (a doll-shaped cake dipped in chocolate) I recommend having it with hot chocolate, a chocolate Neapolitan (pain au chocolat) and a cinnamon paste, it was good but with a chewy texture. All accompanied by a coffee with milk for each one. They treated us very well. It does not have a public bathroom. Recommendable :)
